The nation's oldest concert series devoted to the new and unusual celebrates 75 years with another season of pathbreaking and mind-bending musical experiences: from the delicate textures of Jo Kondo, to the wild and shocking imagination of Chris Newman ... the transcendent harmonies of Wolfgang von Schweinitz ... the virtuosity of the Arditti String Quartet ... plus vital performances of Beethoven, Schoenberg, and many more.

Monday Evening Concerts, originally called "Evenings on the Roof," began in 1939 on the Silverlake rooftop performance studio at 1735 Micheltorena Street, designed by Rudolf Schindler. Monday Evening Concerts remains your home for new music in Los Angeles. We look forward to seeing you at Zipper Hall.
