BRANDON LINCOLN SNYDER

BRANDON LINCOLN SNYDER is a Korean American composer currently living in Stuttgart. He grew up playing keyboard in jazz groups and churches, and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Music at Harvard University where he studied with Chaya Czernowin, Steven Kazuo Takasugi, Vijay Iyer and Claire Chase. He is currently pursuing his masters in composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst with Martin Schüttler. He has made music for the SWR Vokalensemble, Faint Noise, Callithumpian Consort, Nebula Ensemble, and Face the Music. In 2018, he studied music journalism in Darmstadt and Berlin on a John Knowles Paine Travel Fellowship and was previously the director of the Harvard Composers Association. He is currently the assistant producer at Monday Evening Concerts, and is the founder of Browser, a commissioning project for web based music.
