Enter the bizarre world of Renaissance composer Gesualdo da Venosa through Werner Herzog’s profound documentary. Guest speaker Christopher Brakel will explain how a madrigal by the 16th century composer plays a key role in Haas’ Third String Quartet.


Price: $5 per person, free for subscribers. Admission is available at the door only. The Goethe-Institut will open at 10:30 for refreshments, and the program begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. Programs last approximately two hours.
